Most of the country is inundated with "tourist-type" reproductions of old and ancient beads, wood carvings, masks and  jewellery imported from all over the continent, especially Ethiopian jewellery, in such numbers that a colourful display is guaranteed on most markets but authenticity is somewhat confused !
